Dealers 'enjoy' Scrappage! (sad content)

I've seen worse, such as vidoes of a brick being put on the accelerator and letting the engone rev till it pops, and others setting off airbags blowing out the windows. and others simply driving them into each other till they are smoking wrecks. All I can say is if their minds dont extend beyond mindless destruction then I hope there is a long queue in A&E when someone gets hurt.Worse than banger racing in my opinion, at least with that theres a point to it, with a race to be won.

Twats. By the way, I don't know of any of you ladies and germtemen have visited a new car showrrom as late, but most of the salesmen don't seem to have the faintest idea about bloody cars. A few months ago I went to a local dealer to look at a Yaris [yes, I know] on someone's behalf. It wasn't new, so asked to have a look at our equivalent of the V5, and the service history. You'd think I'd asked for a pot of myrhh. "We don't normally show registration documents to people who aren't buying the car"...........Well, they won't be buying this one sonny....................

Give us the gist of the vids then!

Just a whole pile of not funny nonsense.Vid 1 was of a Rover Metro reversing into a Renault 5. The driver got out, looked at the damage then pretended to run away. Brainless.Second vid was of someone pretending the door on an Almera was stuck open and they smashed a ZX into the side of it to close it. :| <<'Icon Neutral'

I imagine this is condoned in some circles because (correct me if I'm wrong) part of the 'scrappage' deal is that the vehicle is made 'unroadworthy'.I'm glad I missed the vids as it would have made my blood boil too...Surely the easiest way of making any vehicle 'unroadworthy' is just to remove it's wheels..?

Nahhhh, because that involves effort, application and the use of opposable thumbs.

This whole thing is screwing up the natural order of things, I have not seen the vid but hearing about the Almera/ZX interface just makes me think of the people being denied a wage due to them not existing anymore, cheap old cars being ping-ponged around the second hand trade feed so many mouths behind the scenes, the guy who blows in the front wing for a hundered quid, the guy who MOTs it, the guy that fits a track rod end and a back box, and ultimately the mug with a pitch who gets the remnants of the profit margin once it`s been pecked to pieces by every fucker.I am so glad I do not have my lot anymore, having to witness future stock being gleefully torn to shreds by these dopes with seemingly no way round it at all.
