The owner of this died after his fifth tab so it still works. The combination of electricity and smoking have made a bit of a comeback recently, but this is classier.

As for the ‘Telulog mileage recorder’, it’s provided me with a hallelujah moment.

I can visualise being sat in the back of my grandads 1100 back in the 80’s. Two things are still as clear as day in my mind as I looked forward - the fox tail hanging down from his rear view mirror (I called it a ‘scallywag’ and still don’t know why) and the weird little thing with swivelly numbers glued onto his wooden dash.

Now I finally understand what it was for - working out how many emmpeegees his A series was giving him!

 

I inherited a blue TELU LOG on the purchase of an ex Grandad A reg Fiesta fourteen years ago. Heck knows where it is now, but if I can unearth it, anybody want to buy it for 25 new pence?

The inspection lamp with the crocodile type clamp lurks in my mum's garage still.

 

Can anyone explain why the seatbelt shown goes over the driver's left shoulder, what on earth does it attach to at it's upper mounting?

Loads of sticky adhesives to solve stuff that was supposed to rattle like fuck such as windows.

To be fair, those window wedges would still sell well for all those window regulators that have broken. Much better solution than gaffer tape I often see plastered over a car door.
