paulplom
My transit is a 2010 swb with the 140 bhp. It flies at keeps up with traffic. It's limited to 104 mph unfortunately where it's only at 3k revs in 6th. Uncle Jimmy
Kiltox
This is in getting interrogated now. Had to jump it again, partly blocking the street with the Duster as some smug cunt parked in front of the van watched rather than moving. He paid the price by being drowned in diesel clag as it kicked into life and I booted it away. Felly Magic
I remember when I was moving down south, Enterprise Leeds had 4 dead LWB high tops round the back, I was supposed to have a Maxus to move, but due to snow, it was stuck somewhere, so they brought a Transit that wasd almost brand new up from Sheffield, that struggled for grip in the snow, even loaded up to the roof with my stuff. Was glad I didn't end up with one. Don't the new Chinese takeaways all have the same 135ps engine now, or summat daft like that?

Kiltox
It’s getting a crank sensor. Spare wheel carrier is loose which was probably causing one of the rattles Front shocks are tired and leaking and the front brake discs are suspect but I’ve told them to get it running before I worry about anything else. Hopefully the crank sensor sorts it.....I know they get a lot of stick but you seem to get a lot of van for your money. are they as rot prone as a transit? Kiltox
It’s had a bit of welding a couple of years ago according to the MOT history. Doesn’t look to be too bad though.

Kiltox
Cheers fella. I’m guessing it had the contents of the garage hoover chucked at the shocks for the last test given it failed on them.... Cavcraft

Kiltox
It’s back. Faster but not fast at all. EML gone but EDC still on (they couldn’t deal with that one they said, probably injector related and needs a diesel specialist?!) Starts a bit better. Old sensor had a fair bit of oil on it so it’s safe to say a few oil seals are buggered. I’m thinking a can of stop leak and injector cleaner and run it until it dies / I trade it in for a new one Dirk Diggler, puddlethumper, beko1987 and 3 others

Kiltox
If I am going to start using this POS one slightly more minor thing I need to fix is that it seems to only be able to send air to the windscreen regardless of what the controls are set to - what’s broken?
