RoadworkUK
In my opinion, a far nicer car to travel in than the W204 that followed. Those wheels, though, are magnetically drawn to kerbs. Good luck with sale.

Six-cylinder
Nice, it's an Aberdeen reg! The book pack has a couple of business cards one is Graham Forbes, Sales Executive, John R. Weir Ltd, 366 King Street and the other is Mark Brown, Service Advisor, Mercedes-Benz of Aberdeen, 31 Craigshaw Drive. The question is did the dealer change name/owner/address? No no don't answer that. Jim Bell and Six-cylinder

No car dealers on King Street for a long while now. However, Craigshaw drive is in Altens / Tullos area of the city, which is where all the car dealers are now! Six-cylinder
I have enjoyed the C320 CDi all over Christmas, but the reason I have it is to sell it for my friend so I guess I had better make some effort to do that. Yes it is for sale, if you want to spoil things for me!

John R Weir were on King St, i’m not sure when the site was sold but it’s now student flats. Mercedes of Aberdeen is owned by Arnie Shark (his name’s not on the building though) and are on a much bigger site with BMW, JLR, VW, Etc within spitting distance. Hendry
Yes, yes and yes. John R Weir were on King St, i’m not sure when the site was sold but it’s now student flats. Mercedes of Aberdeen is owned by Arnie Shark (his name’s not on the building though) and are on a much bigger site with BMW, JLR, VW, Etc within spitting distance. Not sure when they moved either, but the 2 business cards would be for the same dealer but different address going by the age of this car, because once upon a time Merc dealerships all had normal names of the owners/other company names etc. until Mercedes decided all their dealerships were to be called Mercedes-Benz of Glasgow, Mercedes-Benz of Aberdeen, Mercedes-Benz of Edinburgh etc. but John R Weir must have been one of the last to change because in Glasgow, Giffnock, Ayr and Hamilton Merc the names all changed to the Mercedes-Benz of names around 2003, JRW was taken over by "The Shark" in late 2012 I think. Round here although the dealerships themselves never wore the company names, the cars for a while had Vardy Continental or Stratstone.com number plates and the window sticker said "Stratstone, Mercedes-Benz of Giffnock" etc. Under Arnie the Merc garages now sell alongside the Mercedes-Benz Of stickered and plated Merc franchise stock, a range of non-franchise stuff on the forecourt with AC banners and the cars come AC plated and stickered, and if the other garages are anything like the Inverness Merc, Arnold Clark branding appears on the totem sign outside the dealership which says something like "Mercedes-Benz Smart Sales Service Parts & Accessories M.O.T Arnold Clark" Their Merc ads were proper Mercedes corporate identity but did say "Part of the Arnold Clark Group" but saw an advert in yesterdays Road Record which was just like a standard AC newspaper ad like they do for the Ford/Renault/Vauxhall etc dealerships but for the Merc ones. They also give websites like www.mercedes-benzofgrangemouth.co.uk but also www.arnoldclark.com/mercedes-benz on the same page. I think JRW Select which was their used prestige dealership as well as their Kia and Jeep dealerships all in Perth have completely rebranded lock stock and barrel to AC though. Tamworthbay
Absolute bargain, father in law bought a smaller engine one of these six months back, a lot lower mileage (around 50k) and from a dealer, but he paid nearly double the price of this one.
