I was just imagining the "omg rusty old polluting eysore wreck - what about the children" posts that would occur on Mumsnet.

Maybe this should be the next plan of action.

We did that to a co-workers desk at work one year when they were on holiday, albeit with tinfoil.  Even down to the individual pencils in the pencil pot and floppy discs in the top drawer he'd left unlocked.  Took us bloody hours!

 

...took him even longer to unwrap everything mind you.  Yes, we recycled all the foil too.
