TBH, looks no worse than the infamous R30 basket case

I definitely think it would be possible to save - and look at that dash! What were they smoking?

This is a Visa phase 2 and has the censored dash, phase 1 looks some more strange while sharing that famous 'satellite'.

This is the perfect combination, later front and early dash.

Ran one from 91-94.Except mine was in blue. They have 4 speeds but top is very high so 75-80 is well sustainable on the flat. They do have a tendency to swop ends when the brakes are slammed on and to set the exhaust valve clearances properly you need to be lying on your back under the car.

This is the same as a phase 1 dash, it's the much later cars that got a toned-down version.

These late ones/four-cylinder ones don't really do much for me, but it is a good colour. what sort of price is the OP looking for? iirc it was £350 or something in the club mag, which seems quite steep looking at the photos. I do want another Visa though. Hmmm. /nothelpful

If you hold it to ransom, maybe the forum will throw you some cash to "save" it and you can waste the money on more tape to hold it together.

This one looks a bit scruffy, but IIRC, the bodyshell is solid, including the bulkhead. Six-Cylinder and I knew this as a running car before it was taken off the road for restoration. The chap who started the work then passed away and his widow didn't feel she could take it on. It's a great colour, too. It deserves to be saved!

The BodyShell of this car is pretty damn good , where one sees gaffer tape ''tis merely holding the parts that haven't been bolted back on. Front Seats & naff engine included in the sale. Enthusiastic Autoshite Citroen Fanclub to support & raise a glass

The Visa engine is an 1124cc suitcase type. Not sure what other units may fit Six Cylinder might be able to shed some light on this subject.

Unfortunately the suspension turrets are different on a 1124cc petrol to a diesel and my impression is that a diesel engine will not fit.

make an offer it says - the best way to turn away any potential interest imo.

I'd say it's worth putting in an offer of £150 for that, but sticking to your guns

Personally, if I was looking for garish yellow French tin, I would rather have this R11 :)
