Datsuncog's Heaps: Sept 2023 - Another Year's T-Met Exemption Certificate...

Long shot, and it never occurred to me until now because I saw a 19 mentioned...

Renault 25? Preferably Mk I.

Hmmm... I have (or had) a couple of Majorette Mk1 R25s, roughly 1/72 scale - can't recall off the top of my head whether I sold them last year, though! Not in 1/43 scale, sadly, so not sure if they'd interest you.

I do have a facelifted Safrane by Vitesse in 1/43, but it's not in the Sale tub!

Not too fussy about scale to be honest.

Majorette stuff used to be my mainstay when I was a kid. Nice that they still seem to do a lot of "normal" cars, hence ending up with a small fleet of French stuff recently from Morrison's where there was a stock at the end of an aisle.

So the small one would be just fine.

Rightyho... quite a busy old weekend just past; mostly spent painting doors and architraves (boooo) but also having a bash at assisting with a stereo fit in the deeply sexy Cortina Mk 3 belonging to the equally sexy AdamMcC of this parish (kind of yaaaay, but also boooo to whichever previous owner filled the car with dozens of redundant wires and connectors, including flipping domestic cable).

Subaru has been mostly behaving itself, which of course hasn't stopped me from imagining all manner of maladies and odd noises while out and about. But nothing that's come to anything.

While trying to blast all the birdshit off it down at the local self-serve jetwash the other week, a little friend attempted to join it in the spray room... But was dissuaded.

A very tidy low-mile CF Dormobile that I've seen in passing before; had a good chat with the owner. He owns a variety of interesting pre-war classics and 60s sportscars, as it happens.

Told him about this place, obviously, though didn't catch his name.

As an additional update, the Subaru is booked into a garage on Thursday morning to get its saggy arse dealt with. I'd asked for a quote for the job and the garage said they didn't really know as they've never changed a set of rear springs on a Forester before - so who knows how this one will go...

Fingers and toes crossed that they don't find a whole world of pain while hoking underneath.

Larger Matchbox for Sierraman?

EDIT: Audi Quattro SOLD! Sierra Cosworth SOLD! Range Rover SOLD! Caravan SOLD!!!

I had so many more, but it appears that a large box of 1980s MB/Corgi made its way into my mum's classroom, and remained there when she retired a coupla years ago... that'll teach me to leave stuff in my parents' attic for decades at a stretch.

£2 each, posted, or £18 for the whole lot  £12 posted for the remaining models in this picture?

(Yes, that's a stray Majorette '57 Chevy at the back right)

post-17915-0-00534200-1527608934_thumb.jpg

Will hoick these out and take individual pics if you prefer! Laser wheels/Connectables in there, plus Superfast/1980s stuff. Ranging from Ex+ to scrap; most are around the playworn mark. I'm sure there's about 100 or so in there.

50p each, or less, or if you prefer - the entire lucky box for £25 posted.

Prices for all listings are very much negotiable.

I am just plucking random numbers out of the air.

attachicon.gifIMG-20180426-WA0077.jpeg

This is the sum total of the remains, I'm afraid - and even then, these may be early 60s?

Ah well. £1 each/ £2.50 the lot? Posted.

I was grubbing for these, so yes please - and I'll mebbe try and restore. PM me your Paypal, ta.

Most have been fucked with to a greater or lesser extent (silver pen 'detailing', added numberplates etc. - but hopefully nothing irrevocable)

EDIT: Kojak Buick has a torn box corner, which is why I bought it cheap from TK Maxx.

Phwoaaar!!!

Interested in the smaller matchboxes, any more pics? Sorry to be a pain!

Do you have s price in mind for the white and red thing about 3 pics back. Think its by corgi iirc

The Matchbox 1/75 was the box I didn't manage to photograph individually, as [loads] - but I'll whip the camera out later!

Is it the red and white Matchbox Dinky Chevrolet Bel Air you mean?

post-17915-0-85068600-1527610962_thumb.jpg

It's missing a headlight but otherwise in quite decent nick - £2.50?

EDIT: or was it either of these ones? More red and white things than I first thought!

I shall take the random ERTL/SIKU Novacar lot, and what looks like a Marbella in another photo?

And the laser wheels matchbox Merc (?) in the box?

Random Siku etc lot is YOURS.

Bburago Fiat Panda is also yours for £1 if you fancy it! Destickered and minor tendency for number plate/thing that holds the plastic base to metal body to come loose, but otherwise a nice little thing.

post-17915-0-32010800-1527611152_thumb.jpg

I'd promised Sierraman dibs on the 80s Matchbox (since he asked) - but if he's not interested in the Laser Wheels Merc after I've posted the snap later tonight, then it's yours also!

**** ALL MAJORETTE SOLD**** Did we also have some Majorette ticklers in the house, or was that my imagination?

post-17915-0-15432400-1527611910_thumb.jpg

Full pics can be provided of the entire contents, but there's a fair few in here. Probably about the £1 - £2 mark depending on condition, or snaffle the whole lot as a mystery box for £30 (again, I'd imagine Royal Mail might be the main winner here, but hey - these need gone).

EDIT: Bramz7 - the two you'd requested yesterday are safely in your box, never worry!

****ALL CORGI SOLD!!!**** Corgi.

So many Corgi. Also a few Husky in there too. A whole big shoebox filled to the top.

post-17915-0-35678700-1527612102_thumb.jpg

Full pics can be provided... as with the Matchbox, 50p - £1 each (but I'd sooner not post them all out singly, for reasons you'll understand).

Coastguard set is £15 posted.

Whole entire lot for £50 posted (inc. Coastguard set)
