90k miles

Mot January

Full stainless steel exhaust system

Classic swede coilovers front and rear plus lowering blocks

Volvo 480 alloys with uniroyal rainsport tyres

Recently I swapped my mk2 Polo for this but having worked on it over the weekend to get it into a usable condition I've found that it's just too barry/boy racer for me, The exhaust note has a nice rasp to it at higher revs but when trying to use it as a normal car it drones quite badly especially motorway driving.

When I got the car the fuel pump seized so I chucked another universal pump and new filter on, it whines a little and seems to bog down sometimes on full throttle so perhaps a higher pressure pump is required.

Bodywork is above average, it's a bit crusty on the front valance and wheel arches and there's some blisters on the top of the doors.

It seems to be a lower spec than my other GLT and doesn't have power steering or a rear wiper.

With a bit of work it could be de-barried, there's a pair of standard struts and shocks which would help with the height correction at least.

I'll grab some more photos later, the interior is pretty clean and standard and there doesn't seem to be much wear on the seats.

I'm after £900 for it and it's in Fife, Scotland

Odd that it's missing bits but looks a nice old thing.

PAS didn’t come along until ‘88 on the 360s. My 87 car didn’t have it, but my friends ‘89 did. I don’t remember mine having a rear wiper either.

Lovely cars these. Very strong engine and super comfy. GLWS.
