2006 Peugeot 307 HDi S £300 ono Selling for a sister

AMC Rebel

Recommended Posts

My sister in her inimitable style asked for advice on replacing this then ignored my advice.

It's now at my house pending sale so I said I'd offer it on here.

2006 56 reg

110K miles

New turbo last year - with associated oil feed pipework etc to avoid it going again in 10 mins.

Decent tyres all round

MOT until October next year

Front leccy windaz and leccy mirraz (all working).

Working original AM/FM single CD radio

CK56 BKD for the MOT history - which you will see is pretty decent all round.

I changed the front drop links last year.

There are only two things I can think of that are downsides -

The message centre shows a brake fault occasionally (it's always after you hit a bump).  It clears itself after one or two restarts and can be (and usually is) months before it does it again.  It has been doing this so long we're pretty sure it's a spurious warning (nothing dire has actually happened and the brakes work fine).  Can't photo this as it's not doing it at the moment.

Aircon inoperative and we tried the "just a regas" - it does work but then it all leaks out again after a few weeks.

All in all, I really like this car but I don't need it - it drives spot on, rides really nicely and pulls well, especially with the new turbot.

I will take moar (some) pictures in the morning when it's not so dark.

Currently residing on my drive LE12 5 mins from J23 M1

A 56 reg car with a year of MOT for £300?!

Get out of town!

That's a bargain despite it being the inferior 307 (306 for life yo) and the mildly chocolatey 1.6 HDi (compared to the old 2.0 8 valve).

It's unbelievably grot-free looking too! Maybe I'm just not used to that being in Scotland and near the coast.

GLWTS!

I was just thinking that too. The underside of that is spot on.
