sierraman
Paid a visit to the breakers today, some interesting stuff in there... Late Mk3 Granada Hearse, looked like a 2.9 Auto, had seen a lot of welding to the backs of the sills, presumably what’s seen it off... fiatdaft and 0ldCh0d
sierraman
Toyota Sera... The MGB was well rotten, it’d been dragged out a garage where it had sat for years. Didn’t get a picture but also a decent 85 B plate SAAB 900 turbo and accident damaged 2CV. fiatdaft and Lacquer Peel

Matt
That Lancia Beta could easily be a couple of years old, couldn't it? ;D The sad thins is that it arrived (those photos) in 2014. Last I saw a couple of months ago they still had it and it was cirtually untouched. Tempting to hire a van, strip it and sell for profit. Your flickr has some great stuff. sierraman
Has Michael Douglas gone off being addicted to sex and moved on to Volvos now? I’d love to know the back story to a lot of the really old stuff like the Beta, I’m guessing someone’s died, first thoughts are to scrap it as opppsed to putting it on eBay for £4,995 BIN Forgot there was also a Rialto today but it was painted a really gopping metallic pink colour. Matt
Oh and this, how could I forget about this? Again this one they might sell as I did ask about it. Still Polish registered but if you want it use the contact details above that blue 240 estate. Not sure what the reference to sex is about... They have a pretty big yard so they tend to keep older/interesting stuff for quite a while, the Volvos seem to stick around. Is it not the same Michael Douglas that runs this scrapyard then? I doubt that. As far as I am aware the current owner is the son of the guy that started it although the company name only goes back to 2002 and the director is Michael William Douglas (maybe started a new company with his own name to change the branding). Matt
Sorry not sure how to do that If by the 75 you mean this photo of one parked next to a Jaguar X-Type then that is Auto Salvage Dumfries but again that is a 2014 photo so they probably won't have it.Auto SalvageLocharbriggsDumfriesDG1 1QX07387 710 147 The only photos I have of scrapped Rialtos were both at the aforementioned Michael Douglas yard in Carlisle but the white one is long gone and if the yellow one is still there then there is virtually nothing left on it.
