Is this ghia si model?, thought it would be either a ghia or an si.

Ghia Si was a thing for sure

Not for long, but right in the middle of Ford's "We don't have a clue what to do with the Escort" period that also gave us a base-model Mexico, an RS2000, a GTi that was in the range for about three hours on a Tuesday afternoon, weekly facelifts, a disappearing Orion, indicators in the bumpers on just one model for no reason, and rust.

Very nice. I used to have a f reg Orion 1.3 I think. Swapped it in for a k reg Sierra azure, loved that car. Lack if power steering and dogs led to swappage for a that shape escort estate. Wife bloody hated it and it got swapped for a rover 400. I do like the escorts and one day maybe I may indulge.

These have five digit odometers so yeah, I guess if you have no common sense when inputting the mileage compared to the previous year....

Someone genuinely thought they were testing thousand miles car in 2009.

2010 had a clever tester.

2011 did not and they ruined it for years to come.

Someone then added the 100k back on later, but it fell off again.

Ghia si is a great trim, sporty looks with Ghia comfort. A friend had a k plate Orion with the 1.8 130bhp I think engine. His had factory air con, factory cd player in the cubby under the cassette deck and red needles on the dials. It was a lovely red colour with he rs/xr3 front end. Very rare motors now. Well played sir

Surely the directive from VOSA/DVSA/whatever is to enter the mileage as it shows on the odometer, not make it up as you go along??
