Apologies all. There was a non-specific bit compression relay failure. After quite a lot of headscratching I decided to reverse the polarity of the neutron flow and bounce a graviton particle beam off the main deflector dish and now it's all working and as a side effect I took out a Klingon Warbird too.

Serious answer: php-fpm was timing out, with no obvious cause. All services appeared to be running normally. Logs were not helpful. In the end I updated nginx and that caused the problem to go away. I shall make sure to be more proactive in installing updates from now on.

I'm not impressed I had to go do something in reality to pass the time!

I fitted my new heated grips & the throttle cable snapped while I was at it, I think that means AS owes me a cable...
