Another of my vehicles I'm ignoring! I've had this a few years and used it as an occasional commuter. I bought this because it looked shite as the previous two bikes I used were stolen from outside my flat, funnily enough they're not terribly interested in this. So I tucked this in the garage about a month ago, it seems to enjoy being thrashed and as they've imposed 20mph speed limits all along my commute, the police have been out with cameras and I've given in and bought a cheap Chinese 125 which I potter along on and shove in the back of my van at night!

Despite looking shite it had new brakes in July before its MOT, the tyres are good, Bridgestone Battlax rear and Pirelli Sport Demon on the front, starts and runs well but gets lumpy when it's warm. Starts well so good battery, everything basically works, sound half decent with the Nexxus pipe too, 40k odd on the clock

If this is your bag I have a nice spare 1993 bike in need of MOTing and a pares bike, both available seperately.

I'm just not going to use it so offers or swap - I need something LHD for my French pad or a low capacity bike, or just something that tickles my fancy, anyway, here it is:

Quite possibly - can you PM me a postcode and I'll see what Shiply comes in at. When you say lumpy when warm are we talking stalling or just lumpy?

If you can insure it and temporarily (or otherwise) name me I'd be well up for riding it up to you if you buy me a coach or train ticket home again, just for the crack. I won't thrash it. Wouldn't have thought I'm much of a risk insurance wise, am 38, full licence 18 years (I was literally about the first poor bastard to ever get an A1 licence in Jan 97), 4 years NCB on my scooter though it's currently sorned.

The spare bike is a much better bike, dusty now but basically a clean bike, L Reg, was a great runner when it was parked up but in need of a rear shock (which is on the spares bike) tucked in the back of the garage waiting for the shed to eventually fail.

The spares bike is a really clean N Reg bike that was dismantled before I bought it, I bought it for the tank and the rear shock and otherwise it's okay, here you are:

What are you thinking price wise? There isn't an old FZ600 lurking amongst that lot is there?

Basstaaardd Basstaarrddd   I still have a Yanama XJ and am not a massive fan of 4 cylinder sewing machines - as below - but may not be looking to keep it.    How much for No2 bike and Spares bike and will they fit in the boot of a local Felicia Diesel?

The other 2 would be £350, which I think you'll find is staggeringly good value and although they won't fit in a pink Felicia they could be delivered as part of a sensational deal!

I had a naked one. Underrated bikes, done a bit of touring in Wales with mates on bigger bikes and it held its own. Liked a good thrash

Although a diesel Diversion would sink my boat...

In order to help you with your fleet reduction strategy you may have the Yanmar XJ for free.   I'll get a couple of photos today just so you realise the present cosmetic state, previously it had been outside partly dismantled in someone's garden for a period of time so I was just getting it to the point of the most basic running bike.

Ignoring the veg powered car this is all yours, Yanmar L100 clone (LONCIN 186), electric start + manual decompressor + Villiers 4 speed + flywheel generator and all the other bits in a fine XJ frame.  When would you like to collect?
