I went to Sandy Balls a few times as a kid on Choir Camp, it was very nice!

Anyway, this amused me on my recent trip to the states. I am easily pleased, to be fair.

kilpunt in W Lothian isn't capitalised, according to the signs pointing to it from the A89. Both sides too, and it's been like that for years. The Grammar Nazi in me wants to send a green ink email to WLC, but I'd be disappointed if it changed.

Are there any guidelines as to whether place names (as in you're entering a town) should be capitalised or not?

One way into my village is ALL CAPS, the other was is Initial Caps.

Used to see one of these on the way out of Southend on the A127;

Also, doesn't matter how much they try and shrink the white background, someone's gonna get an F in there somehow;

Pretty certain that's photoshopped or graffiti .

That sign is/was here:
Screenshot_20170917-201818.png
https://goo.gl/maps/Zihm2PgqhV82Hi

It was originally Scenic Route sign. This is the sign coming up to it.
Screenshot_20170917-201944.png

I turned into that turning while commuting to work for a good year, often with stop+start queues as it's a traffic pinch point. So I know those signs well!
Current Fleet:
1974 MGB GT - A stereotypical classic car.
2007 Honda Civic EX CTDi - The reliable runner that is like the family pet.
