Rave
I am wondering what role the calor gas bottle is playing......lol It's powering the generator (the big red thing on the trolley) which in turn was powering the welder (very satisfactorily, as it turned out). andy18s and loserone
Dave_Q
Price doesn't seem unreasonable for the work done and the relative rarity. Well done for getting stuck in with it, many would have weighed it in faced with that much rust. And now you know how to weld in order to save the next hopeless shitter. bub2006
Well done. The rear speakers sounded ok when i had it but i never used the original head unit so may be the stereo thats the issue? I really didnt have the slightest knowledge that it needed that much welded but congrats on cleab pass Rave

Rave
Cheeky bump to the top. I don't expect it to sell on here to be fair, but having acquired it in a roffle and detailed my trials and tribulations here, shiters have first refusal. I plan on listing it on ebay on Sunday night. Any reason not to link to this thread in lieu of having the world's longest ebay listing? I've never listed a car on ebay before, and I don't know if they allow external links, but if I can get away with it would the Admins/Mods here object? And now you know how to weld in order to save the next hopeless shitter. That was always the plan . I really fancy buying a rotten K11 Micra 1.3 next, with a view to liberating a bit more than 75bhp from it. I've just today been round to see my mate's new house, it's on a corner plot and has a 25x12' space down the side (behind a fence) that'd be just right for working on cars... Edit: if anyone fancies swapping a K11 Micra and a bit of cash for this Fiesta, I'm all ears. Ideally a 1.3 or 1.4 3 door.
