I really can't justify having two cars when I work in Central London and have one parking space!

Any appetite for my lovely* 216 Cabriolet?

Less than 90k on the clock (85208 at the last test) and pretty tidy. Could use a bloody good clean inside but it's not Cavcraft filthy.

Has had 4 tyres, brake pipes, rear bushes and rear brakes for the test, HT leads, plugs and cap just before. Runs and drives well. Exhaust is rattling a bit and probably wants checking out

Taxed to get you home

I don't have any photos and it's parked on a relative's drive so will grab some when I can but it's clean and tidy enough - couple of little surface rust scabs on the rear arches but nothing major and there was no mention of rust on the MOT. Dark metallic grey.

Funky red seats which I think are quite rare. Slight damage to the drivers seat but not too bad and with a good clean it'll be lovely.

£650, anyone? Spent pretty much that on the MOT/tyres.

They're working OK here?

Them yellow cubes from out of a proper old-school urinal are easy to sneak in and a better buzz than any modern chemical shit. Never done me any harm.

Anyone want to make me a derisory offer on this? I need it gone and it’ll probably end up scrapped if I don’t get rid in the next month or so.

Why would you need to scrap it? Stick it on eBay 99p start no reserve and it will sell.

I really don't want to see this scrapped. Wish it would come up at the right time for once, I just can't have two cars.

It’ll need to be shifted from where it is with minimal hassle - I probably will go down the ebay mong route if needs be but I hate doing so

When did you end up with 15 cars? I assumed you only had about 5 or 6.

Anyway, on a more relevant note, I would possibly recommend popping it on Car and Classic or Autotrader (if they are still doing free adverts for cars less than £1k) if you wanted a quicker sale. On those sites you will probably reach a wider potential audience than you would have when only advertising on here. However it would be nice to keep it on here, as it does look very nice.

It’s nearly November, so the last thing I should be buying is a cabriolet the other side of the country. There’s a queue of people bidding privately and I’ve got 4 children to subsidise Santa for.

I’ll drop you a line when I get a proper minute.

In the meantime, GLWS.
