83C
As per title really, I'm after a SMOL car. Must be cheap - couple of hundred quid cheap. Must fit a tall fat bloke.Cheaper tax bands. Ideally no more than £150p/a, so either sub-1549cc on the old system or band G (I think!) on the new system. Ideally, something like a late 90's Fiesta. Cheap, ultra simple and easy to get bits for. It's going to be a low usage car for when I'm home and need a backup machine. Fire away with your suggestions!

dougiefourspeed
Another vote for the 106 here. Get one while you can, values on the up, future classic, £30k at auction soon etc etc... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

andy18s
Hasn't Ken got a Golf up for sale?
83C
He has but it's in the higher tax band. There are a couple of motors I'd consider that are, but I don't want a Golf Mk.3 badly enough to pay the extra. I have been offered a machine of ultra simplicity, much cheapness and extremely miserly fuel consumption, it just depends if I can get to where it is to collect.
