So. Oop norf it is then. From Worcester. Sat Navy says M42 loop to M6. Didn't realise half a nuclear reactor was on move along same loop.

Arrive somewhere close to M6 northbound....someones managed to close two lanes northbound. Coupled with M5 roadworks and frictor valves from Windscale I've covered 48 miles to arrive at Kidderminster. 4 miles from my house after an hour and a quarter. Could have just gone that way, slice of cake, spot of tea and away, but no.

May not actually be a valve from a reactor*

To continue -

obviously the best way to Manchester is via Shrewsbury, Wrecsam and Chester.

So I did.Whilst silently planing the downfall of the Highways Agency. I formulated a plan to reduce them and the road network to chaos and anarchy with rage inducing frustration. Then put it into plan 20 years ago.

Some more M and A road shenanigans for a while. Not including missing M6 turn honest.

Then arrive at Chez Hairnet at 5-5.50 pm as planned.

Not.

It was dark. I was blocking street and far too close to Manure's ground.

So, much pushage, slight strappage and time for a drop of tea and a slice of cake. Which was lovely hairnet et al  :-)

So, missing something.....

There we go.

So, it's late, I'm miles away from home, cold, wet but........my second Proton. Of win.

1.3 GL 4dr Mpi. In GE  red (ish) Yay.

Which doesn't start now, has a mostly flat battery and leaks brake fluid from rear. What's not to love.

It's outside the house now, stil on trailer. Off to work shortly, will unload and moar pics etc etc. And make stuff combust internally. Hopefully.

Apologies for poor/lack of content so far chaps. Or indeed for too much.  :-)

Thanks again for the offers of storage initially, and from hairnet for looking after it for me.

Ps, Fronterrors are ace. 2.8's more so than anything else.
