quicksilver
Anyone fancy this? 6pm to sunset at the Dovecote & Stables, Church End, Willington, Bedford, MK44 3PX. An informal free to enter village show that usually attracts a good selection of interesting vehicles. It'll probably be the last show of the year for the Maxi as we're running low on the mileage allowance. barefoot
I went to a classic car meet last night as well, at the Old Crown in Cavendish Bridge. There were two Morris Thousands, a modern MGTF, a Stag and a TR4.Two blokes stood drinking pints of Coke.I consumed a pint of bitter inside the pub with the fair wife and went home, making careful note in my diary. mercrocker
mercrocker
Nice stuff at Willington, there. RHD Canadian Pontiacs from the GM plant at Oshawa were sold new in the UK as well as Oz but had Chevy running gear. Commonwealth preferential duty rates made them theoretically cheaper than equivalent US cars although the price lists didn't seem to reflect that fact....
