There is not one but THREE Talbot Samba's on eBay at the moment!! I went on the classic car section the other day for the first time for a short while and my jaw nearly dropped when I saw the Talbot section had 7 entries, and then my jaw did drop when I saw the Tagora for sale. What with that BX too, there is something of a Gallic shite fest going on at the moment.

The Samba's just across the river from me - I wonder if Beloved would approve as the vendor is a cancer hospice charity. That Cabscrote is a fking abomination; either the vendor is lying about the cost, or he's an idiot.

Sweet Jesus. That has to be the nastiest van I've ever seen. That's even got more rust than my old Transit.Someone should buy it and do an ice cream van conversion.

Norweb had a whole fleet of these based in Preston - I was lucky enough to get a ride in one when doing some work with them back in 1990 out on the overhead lines - treated with no respect at all by Norweb Federation employees, but good fun in the fields.

Think this has been on Retro rides - the advert is not that old. Much rather have one of them than a Tagora - Pog? MrB?

In a delightful shade of Metallic Autumn Rust. Someone who lives very near me has one of these in silver, it is similarly covered in rust patches, and every single panel, piece of plastic trim, lights, grill and registration places are all slightly out of place. It's wonderfully shonky.
