Mr_Bo11ox
I've never been convinced by those Kappa coupes, for me the wheels are too small and the overhangs too long, the body looks too big for the chassis. Are they really tipo-based? that would explain a lot.
Twinspark
The Tipo thing was a bit of a piss-take, to be honest. The Kappa doesn't directly share any platform with anything else from Fiat / Alfa / Lancia. It appears to have been almost a 156 / 166 development car - it has the rear suspension setup from a 156 / 166 but the front setup from a 155.Looks very 155-esque, like the Lancia Dedra did. Milford Cubicle
It'd be neat to cobble a Xedos 9 engine into that 626 Coop since the engine's cooked. You'd just have to find a Xedos 9 first.

Electric Leyland
EL, are you going to be tempted to exercise your bidding finger this week? Free listing weekend is surely going to chuck up something suitable for you, isn't it?Been thinking about it SL. I need something for Bromley. Been really overspending of late though due to the clement weather and being out and about and generally on it. Two other ideas are brewing as well though, one being the purchase of the red Daf 33 that a mate wants to offload (hes getting his first mortgage this week so cant cope with it anymore), or a jolly over to France 2nd week of June to collect whatever random Francoshite I win on french ebay the week before. I better keep glued to this thread this week, and ebay...
Spottedlaurel
Was that the Daf that featured on here some time ago? Thread about collecting it IIRC. Electric Leyland
That is one very handsome carriage, very handsome. Alas lack of MOT puts me off. Yes it was aforementioned Daf that was collected last year from up north and died on its way back to Leicester. RAC man couldnt do anything with it, after an hour of trying, but from the advise given on that thread it sounds like a dead easy job to get her on the road again. Can you believe it has not budged since that day?!?!?!?!?! Still taxed and MOTed, still a low mileage example in really good nick, still with the best "sticker thread" candidate in the rear window. Think I'm gonna have to have it as my Stevenage lunchtime Tescos jaunt-mobile. Will decide in the next week or two. But ..... its not French. Either that or just go see what happens. All part of the adventure! Aaaah .... Lister. Near my workplace.
