Saw a Polish registered one this afternoon.

Ooh ooh Chrysler 2-litre. Someone's always advertising in Practical Classics for one.

Anyone see the minter at the BMC/BL show this year?

Ooh, a facelift Croma! Haven't seen one o'them in years. Tempted, especially at that price, although I haven't really got a tow vehicle at the moment. I've still got a brocuhre somewhere for one of those, picked up at the 1992 Birmingham motor show if memory serves...

I agree, looks late '70s-early '80s - pretty sure it's not as old as '60s. I'm sorely tempted to have a bid on this, the main thing putting me off is how I'd go about sourcing a windscreen for it.

Are you going to have a bid then wuvs?

Nope, 'fraid not. Engine management issues are one thing I steer well clear of. Even though I'm getting better with car electronics (having successfully bypassed the immobiliser on the Justy andfixed the climate control on the Daewoo in the last couple of weeks) I don't yet feel ready to attack fuel injection ECUs and the like...

I think I had one of them in my Spotted thread from a year or so back, it was in Norwich and looking distinctly unused (along with a yellow Midget) not far from where Baz used to live.

The home of one previous owner Japanese cars:

1973 Datsun 1200 B110 2dr; 1980 Laurel 2.4 C230; 1988 Sunny 1.6 LX N13
1992 Camry 2.2GL (definitely just for spares now); 1993 Camry Estate 2.2GL on the road again!!

And a couple of modern Toyotas

I don't reckon it'd be too hard to get a screen for that. Probably worth just trying some windcreen supliers here. Martin Bridle Windscreens in Christchurch down in Dorset used to be able to get me virtually anything when I lived down that way. Real old school place that's been there for donkeys years.

The aggressive power delivery of this Charade automatic was clearly too difficult for its current owner to control, with the result that they clacked it into a bollard in Morrison's car park.

What's wrong with V reg then? My Ritmo wears it's V reg with pride! :P

I just presumed one of those would carry a hefty rwd turn it into a lotus rep tax. £770 isn't bad i suppose, but i'd not have paid that :)

I paid £10 for mine. 'Twas a 928cc jobbie in orangey brown and one fo the slowest cars I've ever owned. Couldn't complain for a tenner though. No way I'd ever consider paying more than £500 for one, unless it was a Lotus of course.
