Cavcraft
I like this.1196cc + 'matic box would be overwhelmingly depressing though. Not as bad as you might think. Certainly wouldn't win any races but they pull away reasonably well and are ace fun to drive.Took mine on motorways, by-passes and all kinds and was never a problem. dollywobbler
That Car Mechanics Granny is genuinely rather lovely. Though I never got to drive it, several of my then colleagues seemed to fall in love with it, and must be rather upset to be cruelly parted from it.It's for a good cause though - a gift from a reader and now benefiting Leukemia research. Good luck chaps!

Milford Cubicle
I'm looking out for a Xantia, they appeal to me quite a bit plus I reckon the adjustable suspension will be handy when there's lots of snow. It'd have to be a TD though, I don't think I could put up with a 1.9D.

FRONT PANEL WAS ROTTEN SO I INNOVATED WITH AN AERODYNAMIC DEVICE INCORPERATING THE SILLS IN ALUMINIUM . I HAVE PATCH WELDED THE SILLS AND IN LINE WITH WHAT I HAVE JUST SAID AND NOT WISHING TO HAVE COPIOUS AMOUNT OF FILLER OVER THE SILLS I PLACED AN ALLOY COVER PLATE FOR MODIFICATION AND ENHANCEMENT.You can tell this guy is a well-meaning but utterly fucking clueless old giffer. I dont know who this racing engine lot are, but you can imagine them being a fairly serious outfit looking after old alfa and fiat racing cars for well-off business men. Our man rings them up, pumping them for hours with stacks of questions, they wearily tell him what can be done money no object, he gets full of enthusiasm and decides thats what hes gonna do. then he puts the phone down, one of his grandkids comes to see him, falls off his bike and knackers it. He then spends £200 on a new bike for the lad and the engine idea is forgotten about immediately. It was never gonna happen anyway.
