Torsten I thought so too -but i think we are both mistaken. A tidy red estate was advertised on t'bay around 6-9 months ago -with a similar -but different number. WPU or something like that. Thought it was back -always fancied an estate -but think I need to sell my spare blue saloon first!

I was looking at that Beemer last night. If it wasn't so far away I'd have bought it. My first ever Beemer (and about the fifth car I ever bought) was a dark blue Y-plate 518 carb. Paid £300 with ten months' ticket in the days when old cars were still worth something. Yes it was slow, but not painfully so, and E28s are a nice car to drive.

Yeah! i am well keen to 'get up close with his pony' :lol: Bit of a dream car for me, sadly I simply didnt have £350 when I needed it! Fancy not being able to afford a Hyundai Pony, what a loser.

You probably only have to ask and I'm sure he'll oblige :lol:
