The bloke selling the Morris wedge wants £375 for it complete if anyon'es interested.Obviously I don't know what it's like 'in the flesh' but if it's reasonable I'd say that was pretty good money for such a rare car.

For a minute there, i thought this was for sale, I think it's only for hire. I was there the day this was taken, it's a Jamie T promo shoot. Here's a funny fact, the bloke in the passenger seat is form Tokyo, now living in London. He read the signage on the cab, and said it was from the district he last lived in in Tokyo. As there aren't that many cabs in the district, he came to the conclusion that he had probably been in the cab before. So, he had crossed the world, to get in the same cab that could have taken him to the airport!

The pukka JDM Laurel taxi is still for sale on eBay. It's now only £750, and it has LPG, seems to be a rather good price. I wish I wasn't spending so much on the house right now... http://cgi.ebay.co.u... ... 0355688790

Shame the seller can't spell Peugeot.

Oh... um hang on, I've just read the spiel. Isn't this the same seller who was offering finance on that sheddy old Gowlf?

What a shame. :?

I miss stylised steel wheels, they're due for a comeback.

Steel wheels are SO much better at the job than alloys. They look better, in my experience they are usually lighter, they are easier to handle and they don't weld themselves to the hub quite as readily as alloys do.

The main thing I like about steel wheels is that they don't go porous and give the tyre a slow leak, it's a right pain on older alloy wheels. The steels on the Stanza look atrocious, but I've never had to pump the tyres up.Plus they look ace with trim rings, this is fact.

Exactly what I thought! East Germany were making more advanced trucks than that in 1982. Seriously.
