That's a superb way to go about things, isn't it? I'm not looking forward to doing the rest of the paint on the Stanza, might just die instead. Just thinking of all that sandpaper annoys me.

Indeed state based exclusions on age of vehicle, that one's in Ohio and it looks like emissions testing is a bit of a joke for stuff older than 1995 - if you can just get it 30% better (no matter how bad it was) or if you spend $200 trying (even with no improvement) you can get a waiver for the 2 year cycle.....or so says the loacl DMV

So how does something like that pass inspection/emissions laws, is there some kind of age-related exemption in certain states?

In a lot of states when a car is 25 years old then you can import them no problem at all. Some states don't have inspections or emissions checks either.I wanted to import a Skyline (under 25 years old ) back in 2002 but it would have cost me $25,000 just to get the paperwork done via a "registered importer" what a crock of shite!

What makes it look weird, apart from the eye-stabbingly awful bodykit and Subaru rear wong, are the rear lights. I wonder what they are from? They are a lot larger than the standard units.

Cavalier/Manta, mounted upside down?

Interesting thing. Kippered turbo though.

Can't imagine these being highly enjoyable to drive anywhere quickly anyway...

Interesting bit of lateral thinking on the wheels, bet you could get a set for £3.68 on the bay. Works for me.
