dollywobbler
Right - so it's got corrosion and the oil pressure is iffy. Sounds like a bargain!!At least it's not a V12, so will merely be crippling in terms of fuel costs rather than completely devastating.
Mr_Bo11ox
Surely an XJ-S is a blue-chip midlife shite crisis car, if Fatha_ted buys that one he'll even have £500 left to spend on BANNATYNE gym membership and buying loads of those wanky red roses for lasses in nightclubs. All this six cylinder doeskin leather with chrome stuff is wank.

craigcheetham
Which idiot put the link up there to the A-reg Acclaim that's a mere 10 miles away from my home address. No sooner had I opened the link than my bidding finger slipped and I accidentally became top bidder.Which means there might be a Nissan Bluebird up for sale very soon. Mr_Bo11ox
Jeezus! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260404796507 This car would be great for racing - track days, speed trials etc. Oh aye, I suppose the roll bar is an approved one then. The roll bar is suitable for everyday driving, but is not approved nor designed for racing. The wide fiberglass wheelarches were also fixed to the body by the previous owner.Mmm, he was obviously a man of some style. WHAT A SHITE HEAP! Guest
Jeezus!WHAT A SHITE HEAP!Is that door trim made from an old table top? Do you still need an engineers report for the insurance company when you mod a car like that? If you do I bet thats why its for sale
craigcheetham
You have to question how much welding that metallic red Acclaim needs if it's ended up at 'Durham Metal Recycling Centre' though don't you? dollywobbler
Very nice Craig - but TWO things have stopped me bidding. One - Italian V6s sound better and two, Audi 100s blow up automatic gearboxes for fun...Of course, I'm sure Italian auto gearboxes go bang too, and I'm now regretting saying that... brammy777
There are 72 watchers on this car, why? I am going to strip it & crush it if it doesnt show any serious bids within the next 24 hours. It has no engine and gearbox, and has obviously stood for a long time. He also put it on a 9 day listing. Brilliant. Some people....
Pillock
As far as I know that Type 3 isn't even a known showcar, so the sellers ploy of tugging heartstrings kinda falls flat. "bid realistically or you will never see this car again" - it's not a kidnapped dog FFS. It's just a particually ugly bodge job that, speaking as a T3 owner and VW nut, deserves to be crushed.
