I know naff all about bikes, but this looks cool for a 50cc put-put-putter. GORJUSS! THE SWINGING ARM HAS BEEN REPAIRED (WELDED)I'd want to have a bloody good look at that, mind... Spottedlaurel
Hey, I'd recognise that strap left under the bumper any day... As recently featured on my thread, seen not so far from Ipswich. Glad to see it still about (looks like the oval did beckon), though I can't help thinking there's a world of pain involved in getting it sorted. Milford Cubicle
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RELIANT-ROBIN-3-W ... 0296426298 This looks pretty smart, should be easy enough to remove the T.I.T. decals http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1981-ZIMMER-Golde ... 0315871497 Gah! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1983-A-REG-AUSTIN ... 0287339960 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1980-PORSCHE-924- ... 0280868033 I like the colour. pogweasel
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/96-N-REG-PEUGEOT- ... 0018051995 Let me tell you from the outset..this car has been meticulously maintained by myself...I am an extremely capable amateur mechanic and as such have done nearly all the work need on this car, to the highest levels of care...Good. And then... rivers door severly impacted..looks like its been opened out onto post (see pic) Alloys fairly corroded (see pic for worst one) Drivers side sill has been dented by somebody jacking on it..DOH!..not punctured but does rub on door bottom Bonnet has 2 fairly prominent dents/scratches in it Passenger side window guide missing..winds down and up but 'jumps' out of runner Driver seat slide mechanism slips..cured by bolt which stops slide but will need adjustment to new driver Front seat quite grubby (see picture) Needs good valet inside..I've let her go slightly Replaced rear wiper motor but doesnt have intermitant function just normal wipe mode 1. MOT FAILURE...needs 2 areas of welding on front lower arm/wishbone chasis mounting points...will supply failure sheet with paperwork..to be honest I think its one of those classic 'make a bit of cash' failures because nothing else was wrong with the car..Ive looked at it and cant see anything of note!..chances are different garage would pass it on this! 2. Struggles a little in wintertime to start from overnight standing..all glow plugs tested, cold start cable adjusted can only suggest its injector spray patterns..although it gets regular fuel flush or more likely valve clearances..although these cant be to bad as performance, economy and emissions are almost as good as new. Start fine from warm and in summer. 3. Passenger side outer C/V joint clicking on hard lock..only developed recently so not urgent but will need attention. 4. Gearbox input shaft bearing..again only recently gone noisy..these can go on for thousands of miles or they can go on you tommorrow..I make no promises...2nd hand box and fitting should be £200 or your being robbed. 5. Brake discs warped..unfortunately the pad/discs are not a good match..pads being too hard have made the discs get to hot and warp..although the breaking in not effected as such..hard pads dont make for very good stoppers..it is annoying and worth doing as you can get pads and discs for £50 all in..try GSF OR EUROPARTS. Don't give up the day job, chum. Alternatively, a glowing career writing bollocks in the media awaits.

Heep
Love that Stellar and the Tempo! Dad had a Stellar when I was 2, I think I faintly remember the wheels. I always hated Tempos/Topazes when growing up but now I'm a fan. Edit: Just looked at the ad/pictures of the Tempo, if you look at the straight-on interior shot you can see he has a current Crown Vic parked in the drive too.
