The seller of the R19 Chamade seems a bit suspect, in terms of his/her grasp of what makes good auction text.I drove a 190 1.8 once, it was slow and the manual box ponderous, a 1.8 slusher must be on a par with a 316i auto for "speed". GR8 4 RACIN MILKFLOATS. But hey, beautifully engineered - 10 years in development, those 190s, according to the launch blurb. I do like the way the boot tapers, sort of like a Citroen DS.That early 104 shortcut in France is gorgeous. I do love the minimalistic interior, and that steering wheel! I'd be ripping that shonky door mirror off and getting something more "period" if it were mine.

I've seen that Mira before and I can't remember why, but it's "bad news". The Sapporo on the other hand is a tempting proposition, but as usual it might as well be on the sodding moon. Dorset!

I remember why now - it's been sprayed matt black with rattlecans and the time before last, the engine had blown up. Plus it's got a facelift front-end and I don't think it would have one that early. BAD NEWS.

I bought this car with a view to breaking it for parts for my Morris Minor project, namely, the engine, axle, running gear, etc. After getting it MOT’d & taxed, I just can’t bring myself to break it up.

Lucky escape! It looks class!

Question & Answer Answered OnQ: Would you care to clarify what's going on? I think people may be put off buying unless you do so. Thanks, Mike 31-Oct-08A: Dodgy people don't own Renault 9s!!!I am not willing to discuss what happened in detail but i can tell you the person that was supposed to take the car became threatening and abusive.I have therefore relisted the car.I couldn't care less if i sell the car or not because i love it.I know that if it sells i will never be able to get one as good and honest as this.I have been plagued by idiotic questions and ridiculous offers. All i want is for the car to go to a good family that are not looking to tear the car apart or strap turbos onto it.This is a 100% genuine sale and i challenge anyone to do any checks they want on me or the car.Q: I thought this vehicle had been sold!!!! 31-Oct-08A: The car is still for sale and im not interested in timewasters so please bid or call for further details. The person that was supposed to take the car has been reported to the police.Q: People like you help make ebay such a bad place to be. I have won this item, and I have already taken further action. Watch what happens! 30-Oct-08A: As you are continuing to send threatening emails you have left me no choice but to fully inform the police. The car will not be coming to you.If i win or lose any case i dont care because the car is not coming to you.Now stop being such a cry baby and leave me alone.

Also can someone explain, as if to a small child, or better still as if to an old git, how to do this so the ebay pics can show up?

Are you using Firefox or Internet Explorer?IE - right click the picture and scroll down to 'properties' in the box that appears. This gives you a url for the picture. Highlight this and right click > copy. Then come back to Autoshite, click the Img button in the reply box and right click > paste the picture url. Then click the Img button again (which by now will be /Img to close the string. Post and see the pics magically appear. If you are using Firefox, when you right click on the picture just select the 'copy image location' option, then come to the forum and follow as above. Hope this helps!POG
