Mr_Bo11ox
Give me strength, what kind of a total, total cretin do you have to be to bling your car up with a load of swords behind the seats. The mind boggles, its up there with that blue barried-up Cavalier with a fuggin massive whippet airbrushed on the door. Please tell me you have a picture of the above delight MrB!Its one of my favourites off Barryboys, here it is: http://www.barryboys.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=12212

Mash
This heap of shit I believe we've seen before- spotted by someone? Each to their own and all that, but I really struggle to understand this kind of "project". I mean, for the money you spend on it you might as well have gone and bought a proper Alfa 147 anyway. All you've got to show for your cash is still a crappy 13 year old Rover and 99% of the population will think you're a bit of a tool. About time the head gasket went too, isn't it? Some people...I think the sort of person who would like this are summed up here by following the ebay tradition of cleverly censoring their number plate on the description, and then on only half the photos! Genius.
andrew e
The Rover, barry boys tat aside, has had some serious panel work effort put into it - its not to my taste but you can't deny that effort. The lupo is just stick on tat mind

michiel
http://www.nettiauto.com always has nice early Japanese tin, and I can't stop myself from checking it every month or so... saw a nice Corona wagon a few months ago, 1600 euros... getting it here would make it too expensive for me unfortunately, and after a few emails the seller repriced it at 2750 euros - 'it's rare and I've had interest from Holland!' Must get a better job...

Milford Cubicle
They are pretty classy, someone at work just bought a 190 1.8 slusher and even that is a nice car. They aren't very roomy inside though, for a reasonably big car.
KruJoe
"the last of the real Mercs" etc. They are pretty much bombproof and usually well looked after. 2L auto is the one to have. Just a bit tight on the knees in the back. Spottedlaurel
One of these would be the perfect vehicle for me, combining the simple, robust mechanicals of my Bluebird saloon with a decent size loadbay. Not good timing though, I'll probably just get a trailer if/when the Camry is no longer for this world. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1988-NISSAN-BLUEB ... 0302597168
r.welfare
The seller of the R19 Chamade seems a bit suspect, in terms of his/her grasp of what makes good auction text.I drove a 190 1.8 once, it was slow and the manual box ponderous, a 1.8 slusher must be on a par with a 316i auto for "speed". GR8 4 RACIN MILKFLOATS. But hey, beautifully engineered - 10 years in development, those 190s, according to the launch blurb. I do like the way the boot tapers, sort of like a Citroen DS.That early 104 shortcut in France is gorgeous. I do love the minimalistic interior, and that steering wheel! I'd be ripping that shonky door mirror off and getting something more "period" if it were mine.
