The first two pictures on that listing were taken by me at the Mile of Triumphs last year. :roll: The chap's had that on the Bay before, but his price seems a bit more realistic this time around. It's a nice car (or it was when I looked at it). Last time I drove past the chap had what I think was an R32 in his driveway, so he obviously likes his Skylines.

Erm, no. I'd value that at 50K tops. Mind you, most of his other cars seem to be rather overpriced too.

I've seen quite a few of those in the £150-£200k region so they must attract strong money in top condition.

That Allegro estate is indeed lovely - the back end looks much nicer than the more familiar series 2. Slightly Renault 12-ish, actually!

Good God, seems the old mk2 XR2 is becoming part of the whole Sporty Ford Tax thing;

Even shagged examples are pulling good money;

Posted Image

http://cgi.ebay.co.u...emZ330279378070

Ive owned 3 of these, and i remember going back 5-6 years when these were readily available with long mot's in straight nick for 500 quid! And cost nowt to maintain as the scrappys were at that time bulging at the seams with mk2 fiestas.

Great little things for tooling around in day to day, loads of fun AND more than capable of keeping up with most of the new hot hatches.
Everyone should own one

Are these shite now? I think so;

Posted Image

http://cgi.ebay.co.u...emZ130263401531

However these are slow compared to the earlier XR2, and the XR2i's of the same shape. And rather bland to drive. Good daily though!

/\ Clad in corrugated iron off a garage roof. Then tell everyone who will listen that its a rare original 2CV prototype. Will work best if you take off one headlight.
