Richard
They stopped issuing 666 plates quite soon after that, you couldn't even buy one from Select. They seem to have got over it now though.

KruJoe
The pics are crap, but if I were in the market for a big old Ford, the devil's granny would be it. Time for some nice Mitsus: This first one is nice, but bidding is getting a bit strong.Too much for you, Hirst?http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1994-MITSUBISHI-L300-VAN-SWB-PETROL-BLUE_W0QQitemZ250310916713 Love the frumpiness of these:http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1992-MITSUBISHI-LANCER-GLX-BLUE_W0QQitemZ160294077884 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PROTON-COUPE-1-8v-THE-MALAYSIAN-BRAND-MITSUBISHI-PARTS_W0QQitemZ280278273327 And yipee! Just the thing I'll probably be looking for v.shortly, though that one is a bit distant.Would that be cheapy tax?

pogweasel
Goodie. I shall keep eyes open for one of those locally. Been trying to dig up some work in the smoke again today (as I only have guaranteed income till chrimbo), so something that can lick down the motorway at 80 returning good MPG, but can still be comfy/not tinny, plus bland and anonymous so you can leave it anywhere, sounds ideal. pogweasel
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mazda-Familia-323 ... 0311468766This looks interesting (in a bland J-obscurity kind of way). Would getting a screen for this be arseache? Or are they common to other 323's, like that one Baz had bought?
KruJoe
There's something slightly arousing about the name of that ^Screen shouldn't be a big deal - the mid-rif (sp?) looks identical to the more common 3 and 5 doors. It's only a 'chip' - are those windscreen repair men any good - or just a myth? *eagerly awaiting the next pogweasel avatar*
pogweasel
Those chip men who lurk in retail park car parks? RUBBARSH. 'Er Indoors is forever getting repairs on those chips, but they seem to reappear after a few weeks. I've never bothered, having had cars go through the ticket with the same advisory on the same chip year in & year out. PS. New Avatar now available. pogweasel
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0303836622Hmm. Could be useful, but slushbox prevents A-framing, and lack of T&T prevents driving. Awkward.

wuvvum
YEAH BABY http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Datsun-Nissan-Skyline-R30_W0QQitemZ290268645592The first two pictures on that listing were taken by me at the Mile of Triumphs last year. The chap's had that on the Bay before, but his price seems a bit more realistic this time around. It's a nice car (or it was when I looked at it). Last time I drove past the chap had what I think was an R32 in his driveway, so he obviously likes his Skylines.
