Super nice though. Did they all have 'metric' wheels then?

My grandfather had a 1.6L from new in 1984.

My father also had one, but was too tight to even pop for the "L" model. Imagine the horror of a beige montego, with absolutely zero extras. And a 4 speed gearbox. GROSS.

Some impressive stats on that Masser  Great value, when you can blow the doors off everything this side of a Lotus Carlton. Shame that (a) it'd break down after the first traffic light grand prix with a bill of £98,000 and (B) it's about as good looking as Olive from On the Buses. I had a peek at the values of the 'current' QP the other day, £74k new, 1 year old, 38 grand. Not long before they hit the AS end of the market at that rate, and I think they are LUSH.

Went past this bloke's place today (mega ramshackle farm: Tony Martin-spec), he's also got a nifty Hiace Kampa out front as well as 60's pikey caravan. I'd go doorknocking but I reckon he's a bit scary.

Sounds good to me then! I really like those Quattroportes, I'd love to drive round in one pretending to be the mafia or something.
