Mr_Bo11ox
The guy selling that 405 bought it off ebay 3 weeks ago for £300, he has driven it hom to the lake district and readvertised it for 750!
Richard
I wondered if that was the same one that appeared on here a few weeks ago. I did remember that one not fetching very much.

Mr_Bo11ox
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1980-MORRIS-MARIN ... 0227679465MOTORISED TURD This sold today for £77 to 'quality car removals' so it'll probably be getting a one way trip to the nearest weighbridge. Shame cos it looks pretty decent apart from the missing wing, and only 30k on the clock. I now feel guilty for not bidding on it. I wish i'd never fuggin seen the damn thing. Now the only way I can help it is to email the winning bidder and ask if he'd sell it for the scrap value. But what would the point of that be? Why not just bid on it in the first place? Its all too complicated.
wuvvum
I see that Avenger estate got removed. I wonder which of eBay's myriad regulations the seller breached? On another note, my Celsior failed to sell, despite what I thought was a ridiculously low starting bid of £500. I'm not going to sell it for any less than that as it really would be taking the piss paying less than knackered Mondeo money for a Lexus (well sort of a Lexus anyway) so it looks like I'm lumbered with it. pogweasel
Hey, what the chuff happened to the turdblowa AvenJa?I was winning with about an hour to go, checked in & it's been pulled by eBay - what a bunch of pork-sword crunchers.
M'coli
Yes, I spotted that too, it was on my watch list, seeing as I've got a saloon sitting ont' driveway needing paint.
wuvvum
Hmmm... The Celsior failed to sell, but my scruffy old 825D sold for £200 to a chap from North Lanarkshire. Bizarre...
pogweasel
Just got an email from Avengerman. Seems ebay pulled it because of being in the wrong category (parts). Says he will re-list it. Though I think it will make much more than it was going to if in the "classics cars" bit. Ho-hum.
Mr_Bo11ox
Do a deal with him off line! That will teach ebay for being twats.
pogweasel
Fing is, he originally said he wanted a big G for it. And I reckon that properly listed it will make that, easy.I'd put in a max of £750, and looked like I was going to have a fair bit of breathing space on that too. Maybe I should just LPG my BMW for cheap fuel thrillz.

Luckily I have no A-frame capacity at the moment (headlights are U/S on the Audi) so I wont be bidding. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150233221920Should be cheap... I would not mind one of these at all. Handy 'Nurburgring' sticker adds Kudos. http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=130213924780 OOOfff! One owner, £800. Seller claims its a prototype: This car is equipped as per the 2 litre, its the same body as the 160 and 180, but it has a 9hp (thats french 'fiscal horspower') motor which is modified compared to the 160, as well as anti lock brakes (are you sure?) and a velour interior. After the appearence of this prototype, it did not reach production cos Simca sold its Chrysler shares to an Italian company, and then promised not to market the 9hp version for 4 years Gotta be honest that sounds like total nonsense to me.
