Spottedlaurel Posted May 17, 2009 Share Posted May 17, 2009 OK, a bit tenuous given that this was a photo taken by Mrs SL, of an advert in a shop window, of a car in Lincolnshire, but I thought this might be of interest: Seems an odd way of trying to sell a car, chances of someone seeing that ad in a small village in Norfolk deciding this is the car for them? Looks a nice thing in black, can't recall seeing many/any in that. Hopefully the email pic's are more revealing. Anyone got nearly £3k spare then? I do have a note of the number... It's all Nicholas Parsons' fault see, I don't usually visit that shop but they're selling tickets for a thing with him at our village church. All worthwhile if just for seeing that ad. It's ironclad shite, but needs to be shite money to have the proper appeal.They (180 and 2 litre) were reckoned to be absolute dogshit as a car, but they couldn't have been THAT bad....surely?
