Flat4
Wee favour needed if anyone could oblige. I need to upgrade my pets cages and am looking at 2 that should go cheap on eBay, both collection only and the chap in Blackpool has said he won't package it for a carrier. Is there anyone who would be willing to collect it for me and chuck some cardboard round it? I will obviously cover all costs and some beer money too Similar story in Bishop's Stortford, altho that particular cage is still built up and may require dismantling on collection, unless you have a huge car. Certainly before it can be wrapped for a courier. From memory it's something like an Allen key that undos most of the bolts and the biggest piece would be about 3ftx2ft once dismantled. Can anyone help out please? Would be most grateful as they're very expensive new but it would be cost prohibitive to drive from Scotland for them, unfortunately. The Moog
I potentially could saunter along to Blackpool. I am also up in Edinburgh in a couple of weeks if it isn't urgent. eddyramrod

Flat4
Thanks so very much everyone Hairymel can I PM you later this evening if I win this auction to sort out logistics and payment? The Moog, it's not terribly urgent no and I'm sure I could meet you en route to Edinburgh if that would work for you? I'm waiting to see if this particular cage gets relisted, otherwise I'll contact the seller to ask about it. Thanks for the offer UltraWomble but we may not need boxes if The Moog can grab it for me
catsinthewelder
Could you post up a link to the cage you are after? Between me and my boss we definitely have too many cages and one of us will be heading up to the Borders in the next few weeks.
Flat4
Ideally I'm looking for some Liberta Explorers or equivalent, Savic Royale Suite is similar and/or Furet Towers. I'm also after the larger sized Mamble cage but I may be collecting one of those when I'm in Newcastle next month. They do sometimes go cheap when people don't realise their value but they also tend to be the other end of the country.... https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjG2vay96PVAhVCuRoKHdTqCjgQFghhMAA&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.co.uk%2FLiberta-UK-Explorer-Double-Rodent%2Fdp%2FB0033YV7T8&usg=AFQjCNEOQlYhjLfRWEGXEgTG9tPlPPEw5Q http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/small_pets/hutches_cages/ferret_cage/95915?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI_LvR3_ej1QIVpRXTCh2UlgYBEAQYASABEgJ3GfD_BwE catsinthewelder

catsinthewelder
Ah, wrong sort of animal cages. I used to own cages for many rats but they are long departed. Currently overun with dog crates.
Flat4
Yeah these cages are for my Gambian Pouched Rats, my remaining boy has a chinchilla cage which is about 5 stories high but quite narrow. I'm getting some babies at the end of August to keep him company and the Libertas are what most keepers seem to use for theirs. I have 4 fancy rats as well still but they're already in pretty big cages already and can have the cast offs from the pouchies if needed The Furet Tower is for, as you might guess, my ferrets. We got an unexpected new addition as he was returned to his breeder and I had wanted him all along but he'd been reserved by the time I met him. Quietly glad he came back I think I am sorted for these collections now, but thanks to everyone for their kind offers
