Guest
Hello. With some peoples from NSJC and RR, we 'did' Cholmondeley Castle again this year. It's close to where most of us live and Cavette organised a stand for us. We got a few 'choice' comments about our assorted shite, and half the time there was spent berating the twat of a compere who is literally the most irritating cleft on the planet. I didn't get many pictures but I'm quite pleased with the ones I got: In Lymm services. Truly we were members of a special VW club. Very fruity XE Anglia followed our convoy that got stuck in the traffic jam going down the A49. A real RS200. I shit thee not. Vauxhall Cresta bonnet mascot. They're fugging ace, but I imagine they rot to oblivion..... Stunning P5B Coupe was parked across from us. I love these, I'd be chauffeur driven in one if I had mega wedge..... Finally fulfilled a life's ambition by getting a ride in the back of a pick up truck - cheers Cavette. OMG HAI MAH MUVVAS MAH SEESTER etc. Tat purchased, grand sum £8.29..... Somewhat inevitable shot in the 60's show pageant which I made the mistake of entering. I had the pleasure of being berated by the twats from the Morris Minor OC who were horrified I hadn't polished my car with my cock. Also, driving back and forth over the XLR extension for the compere's mic had little or no effect - the smarmy cumburp was using an RF microphone. A signal jammer will be a must for next year, as well as a Thermos. KTHANXBAI.
pogweasel
LOL @ compare sabotage. Is it a 'greenwood' event? That goon runs the two big classics shows near us, rambling bollocks all weekend, the pointless gimp.

Spottedlaurel
Oh, if it was a Greenwood show I reckon I know the compere you mean. At the JAPS shows he could never, ever pronounce Mitsubishi properly.
Station
What was the compere doing exactly?
craigcheetham
If it was a Greenwood event then I know the compere. I won't name him, but he's a well known motoring author and ARSE. I took my late, lamented Allegro along to one of their shows once and I nearly got thrown out.Dialogue below, through microphone to show crowd.ARSE: Ha, ha, ha. An Allegro. Ooooh, must stop laughing. It hurts. Have you got a square steering wheel in there?ME: No you daft twat, it's a '79.

Guest
I thought I recognised his voice - come on, whats the name!!Les. Here he is at JAPS 2008 at Thoresby, interviewing the tech head of the IPTOC. (I was there to REPREZENT in my Piazza). Have you ever seen as many Piazzas in one place? There's three pre Lotus and three HBLs.
