Interesting to see where that was filmed:

Being its now 2018, naturally there are bollards on the pavement now. Going by the distinctive kink it, its nice to see that the tree looks to be exactly the same one though.

I can tell you it's not a Skoda  swap because Mike doesn't have a Skoda, though I wouldn't say no to a rear engined one.

SiC:  Offset pedals/steering/seat.  Perennial problem for me, the Xantia suffered from this too and spoiled what was otherwise a great car.  If the seat and controls are offset in a particular way it means I have to sit twisted/leaning and that puts strain on bits of my back that really don't like it.  A tiny bit of offset is okay, but 1100, Mini, Metro and Rolls Royce Camargue levels of it are just too much.

I bet it's that exotic looking one you started working on a while back, you did some bodywork on it. Silver in colour IIRC.

Probably put there to stop motorists recreating that particular scene

F*ck your Subaru, I have a horse outside.
And f*ck your Mitsubishi, I've a horse outside,

I was always told Rhyl has no purpose.  Well, Rhyl is where my pair of NOS outer sills are coming from for the 1100 for the princely sum of £97.20 delivered.  That just leaves me with the intermediate panels to acquire (£60 from Earlpart) or make from flat sheet steel to have all the metal the 1100 needs.  Happy days.

Of course Rhyl has a purpose. Where else would aspiring scouse smackheads go?

Rhyl had a purpose when they opened the Sun Centre, it was a great place.

Gone now like the rest of it.
