SiC
It's back! The seller has even copied the photos ... Badly. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F122819911514 I still really like it and would have it. I wonder how buggered it is now. Ought to really have a clear out of my eBay saved searches.
Guest Hooli
You could always ask them to swap know you've had one to practice on...
Mally
Can't be worse than it was, and much cheaper.Get it bought. Can buy a welder with the money you save.I had 2, it cost £10 extra to put the second one on my Classic policy.
They_all_do_that_sir
Have you space at the new house for a second? If so you could strip the red one and build modern running gear into it, I imagine that could be the perfect car for you - classic looks but lots of electronic challenges to keep you busy Sent from my SM-A510F using Tapatalk
SiC
Unfortunately I've only had an offer accepted. Quite a while left to actually getting a new pad unfortunately. I even need to find somewhere first! Tbh now I'd have continued bidding on this till I won:https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F152776325010 I was so tempted! But just no place to put it and I need to save my pennies. danthecapriman and Vince70

Guest Hooli
Agreed, the white stripes are a crap popular beat combo & look as bad as they sound on that car.
SiC
I really liked the stripes and thought it suited it! I also like the fact there is a historic back story to it. There are far more horrific things you can do to mod cars. A bit like this poor old thing. I wish I could buy that and fix its appearance back to what it came out the factory like. http://forum.retro-rides.org/thread/200935/1977-triumph-2500tc-retro-2500
Mally
I liked that one, until I saw the dash.
SiC
Something like this could be a quick and easy way to resolve that:http://www.carwrapdirect.com/wood-effect-wrap/ Even just stripping it and having it sprayed black/grey/etc would look a lot better. Guest Hooli
I liked that one, until I saw the dash. Same here. Top tip shitters - don't let your 4 year old daughter do the dash while you paint the outside of your car.
