Ta. with an 1800cc ,65bhp engine I thought it must be made of ally, but no, seems it's welded steel.

Can't be quick then, can it? Probably rusty too, although I'm guessing it straightforward to repair.

Not overly enthused, frankly feels like a pile of work.

Cheers though

It'd be about as fast as an old Series Land Rover, which is for the best given it has leaf springs fore & aft.

It does have portal axles though, so it'll probably be quite good off-road.

If the sale price is less than £2,000 there could be a decent profit in it IMO.

I've seen it's big bother (C303? 6 wheel thing) off-road & it made a lot of LRs look rather silly. Very impressive toys.

If it's a C202, which it looks like it's likely B20 powered. Not sure if they were single or twin carb but 90-120 bhp. The C303 is very similar but with the inline 6cyl B30 from the Volvo 164 and would be twin carb 145 bhp. They are very capable off road as Mr Hooli says, not many Range Rovers would get out of this.
