Guest Lord Sward
I'd be putting genuine Ford plugs/leads/coil on it with these symptoms and no fault code. Genuine Ford plugs aren't as good as a set of aftermarket NGKs. Even if the Ford plugs are badged as NGKs when you look closely. My dad's Mondeo didn't like seriously high speed work when fitted with genuine Ford plugs. Switched to NGK plugs (looked at closely they do vary slightly, the genuine Ford items don't look as good) and the issues went and never came back. Guest Lord Sward
I'd never fit a Denso plug if there was a NGK alternative.
