Does anyone need any parts from a scruffy 2007 Zafira 1.9cdti?

A lad I work with has just irretrievably bent it and could do with earning a few pennies towards a replacement.

I've got a pair of 185/70/14T tyres, matching pair and not far off new. Shit loads of tread and no damage at all. They're not brand names though are perfectly good.

Come get them or sort your own shipping/shitely etc and they're yours for FREE!

PM me if wanted. Location just north of Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Mr Welder,

Could the bereaved party take a photo of what the rear lock mech's look like? They may be the same as my 2004 Saab 9-3 ones which are a bit ornery at the best of times.

Dunno actually! Never thought of that. But they're not commercial rated tyres...
My Transits good all round already anyway.

Stanky might be having the tyres now anyway.

when you say rear lock mech do you mean the catches on the back doors or the linkage that attaches them to the C/L solenoid or something else?

On the Saab, they are one unit that looks a bit like this:

if they look broadly similar (I think Vectra C ones are the same) then I may be interested.

Bit of a long shot but does anybody have or know of a Nearside rear Light Lens for my 2000 X reg Fiat Fiorino Van? Must be from a 93 onwards vehicle to fit apparently.

Fiat part number: 7749995.

Also might need some 165/ 70 / 13 tyres for the same at some point, ideally a branded make and a pair of or more. Not in a rush for either just thought I'd put a heads up.

Wanted engine.

Blacktop Zetec 2.0 in running order. Bare engine is fine.

As fitted to Mondeo 1999-2002 and some Focus.

Greater Manchester/West Yorks area but may travel if the price is right.

You could pick a running Focus 2.0 up for pennies. No market at all for them, not that quick, tax cost a fortune for what it is and fairly thirsty for what they are.

I'm not sure of the year for Focus, and I haven't the space to strip one.

I know the going rate for engines and will pay it providing distance is reasonable.

Those on the bay at the moment are distant, but am in no rush at all.

Been on Ovalchat recently nothing showing.

They are increasing in value due to decreasing in availability.

Much more demand now as well, people are hoarding them.

Someone was asking about good investments on here recently, can't go wrong if you have the space.

Cheapest I've paid is £65, dearest £150.

I adjust price to distance.

Does it make much difference between a blacktop and silvertop?

Yes Silver top not allowed in our rules.

I used to rebuild pintos myself at times because they cost 4 Grand from an engine builder.

Zetec rebuild cost is £500 plus base engine. So let someone do it who knows them at that price.

Almost as fast as a Pinto and last longer. Bargain.

Got a Peugeot? Think you can handle even more power and be even more appealing to your target gender and socio-economic demographic? Then step this way...

Rescued from Freecycle earlier today, a full set of OEM Peugeot-branded mats from a 307cc, but would probably go in anything  made since the mid 90s to be honest.
