It got 4 new tyres recently with the highest possible fuel economy rating from blackcircles I could get for the size. It had 4 new injectors last year, is running diesel engine oil to keep the engine free of sludge, it's running 100% V-Power Nitro in the tank and at 70mph indicated, it's only doing about 65mph.

It managed 35mpg yesterday from Larkhall to the house to the Lakeland Motor Museum then back via the Western Lakes and Honister pass to Todhills.

Oh aye here's my photos from the air museum on Saturday : https://flic.kr/s/aHsm4G1LV2

I have driven these brand new and only got 27 mpg, maybe you need to accelerate harder, brake and accelerate again to obtain the correct fuel consumption!

At home and running:
1976 Daimler Sovereign 4.2, 1996 Citreon ZX TD estate, 2003 Renault Scenic Fidji Dci, 2001 Alfa 156 V6 Sport wagon Veloce, 1970 Triumph Vitesse convertible

At home and broken:

1990 Mercedes 200TE (heat stuck on max), 1966 Jaguar E-Type FHC (core plug leaking), MG Metro wings being painted, Cadillac Alternator belt pulley tensioner broken.
