UltraWomble Posted June 12, 2017 Share Posted June 12, 2017 Mentioned briefly in the bikeshite thread is this 2004 Hongdou copy of a Honda Z50J only with a 110cc engine. Reasonably good quality, the only bits that let it down currently are the indicators (which are on order through AliExpress) and side panel ( similarly on order).I had intended to dress it up as a more accurate clone with decals but a thumping great bill means this has to go. £275 is a shitters price and will include the bits when they arrive (£260 I break even on the bike). The bike runs & rides and could be road registered if you are brave / insane / not a lard arse like me (delete as applicable) and has some paperwork for the brave to try this. The Speedo goes to 40 - however if you have balls of steel / just escaped from the Avondale Unit at RPH the bike will go "off the clock" Believe me - 40 is plenty on these tyres - 8" Chinese Knobblies - Ive seen excited puppies on laminate flooring with more grip. Personally I think its a bit of fun and would be ace at Summer shows ( which is why I bought it) but if you are bonkers enough to road register it please post a video up of you riding it down the M6 (or similar). Its located in a place called Lostock Hall near Preston.Wikipedia thinks its n interesting place to live - personally I think its a bit of a toilet.
