DodgyBastard
That's on the (joke) MOT exemption, which doesn't legitimately cover 3500 (or under) KG vehicles. I have feeling my insurance no longer cover recovery trucks though, so would have to have a new policy, then ensure that covers all aspects. I'm not sure what it's down as on the V5, It just comes up as Transit 190 lwb when I type the reg into insurance sites. The insurance is with Aviva for £300 a year. Six-cylinder
I Presented my case to my friend who I wanted to go 1/2 with this morning. We share storage so sharing a transporter seemed logical to me, but it met with negative vibes. So I guess I am out.

DodgyBastard
So what did you get in return? Boat? Beach Buggy? I turned down a mk5 gt tdi Golf, various offers of £500, a mk6 Transit, A generator, caravan and some dogs. Guy turned up with £1100 and I just thought fuck it, I'm making a loss but it'll be away. Kiltox
Christ, I know people try to trade all sorts of shonky crap to turn a profit (see theshadow) but you've got to be certifiable to be buying these with that aim surely! Rusty_Rocket
Cavcraft
They're pretty good money spinners to be fair. I reckon you could buy one for £1500 with a long MOT, work it for a month and do very well out of it, before selling it for what you paid.
