eddyramrod
Bloody hell Mein Herr, that looks worse than the 1969 Sceptre I had! Mind, that was in 1983... The OP is asking for 1975/6 because it's the end of the run (I presume), and I think these have the bigger bumpers too, earlier models will have the slim ones. Junkman
I'd be glad if a 70s Humber has any bumpers at all.The only place where you see them in any numbers is the Stan Woods Memorial. Mally

Uncle Jimmy
There was a turquoise metallic one stooging around my way until recently, at least I don't think it was a Hunter, it had a vinyl roof. I have a liking for the 'Arrow' cars, an estate would be good.
NorfolkNWeigh
Who is it on here that's got that amazing, restored estate ? That must be one of the best in the country.
mercrocker
Remember it being posted up but not who by.....Those late Sceptre estates are a particular favourite of mine, partly because they came out right at the end of production when we were least expecting it. Uncle Jimmy
PC did a Mk2 Cortina vs Hillman Hunter article a couple of months ago; one of their better efforts, they were good motors as was the Avenger in it's humble way. eddyramrod

ShiteRider
Aside from Seth i think theres two other people on here with 'arrow' series cars i'm sure someone had an ex show car gold humber estate and somone had a late minx saloon in red with most amazing seats of ever. I think someone else had a yellow saloon.Could've been the same person thinking about.Arrow series cars are wonderful things. Personal preference is for earlier cars but each to there own. Bianconeri
Happy memories as I learned to drive and passed my test in an Arrow Minx that belonged to my grandfather. It was replaced by an Avenger when the tin worm took hold. I liked that too, but I was probably too teenage to admit as much at the time.
Junkman
You shure its not a Peykan, smuggled in with a shipload of Iranian saffron for the pizzas? Khoda Hafez from Love xx Joy It's a genuine Hillman, he looked long and hard for it, it's a tidy one and he paid a lot of money for it.He was genuinely surprised when I said 'so, where you are from, this would be a Paykan?'He couldn't belive a guy from down the street knew what that was.The Paykan sure has total cult status in Iran's very lively old car scene, which of course is a factor inhim choosing the Hillman as his toy.
