So after having dinner as the only guests at a semi derelict roadside restaurant - not only were we the only guests,but we had the impression we were the only guests since a good few days - we went on and found ourselves in an area with not much in it. We happened upon a derelict round tower. Sorry for the shit photo, but the tower is indeed round and derelict and not square and derelict. Nearby was a derelict house. And a church, of which the grade of derelictness couldn't be established. A nearby village was downright eerily lifeless. My last few trips to visit my brother in Dublin have been short so I haven't really been beyond 10 miles from the city since 2010. Great atmospheric pics of buildings but such a waste.
