and I decided to Improve© The Climate even further.

So after having dinner as the only guests at a semi derelict roadside restaurant - not only were we the only guests,
but we had the impression we were the only guests since a good few days - we went on and found ourselves in an area with not much in it.

We happened upon a derelict round tower.

Sorry for the shit photo, but the tower is indeed round and derelict and not square and derelict.

Nearby was a derelict house.

And a church, of which the grade of derelictness couldn't be established.

A nearby village was downright eerily lifeless.

I'm getting the same messages, I think sickbucket is trying to exploit money out of Junkman, which is why I use Flickr now as it's 1tb of freeness, with no hosting issues, missed the last couple of days of JM & spikey's exploits because of the sickbucket block

Great pics there Junkman.

WTF has happened to rural Ireland? Where have all the people gone?

My last few trips to visit my brother in Dublin have been short so I haven't really been beyond 10 miles from the city since 2010. Great atmospheric pics of buildings but such a waste. There must be value in these buildings yet they're being left to go to ruin.

This is what capitalism in its terminal state looks like. Kind of a Detroit MkII.

Brace yourselves, the UK is heading this way at lightning speed.

With the only difference being that in Ireland at least no no go areas form,

because its inhabitants are just too friendly.

Thus the Irish are not likely to kick off a placebo war,

which the British inevitably will. Well, they did already.
