the 2nd half was not as good as the first...he blew up an Arna.1st half had footage from the early 70's at Harwich, he drove a 120y and fotage of other early jap stuff. 2nd half was mostly impreza's and evo's.

The blue Daihatsu he was driving was very cool! I've never seen one of those before.

Coincidence! That's what I made reference to on the 'my ultimate Autoshite' thread by RatDat. Funny cos it's been a few years since I saw that sequence!

Speaking of Clarkson playing god with things he doesn't like, on searching for a clip of him killing the Cherry / Arna, I found possibly the most controversial (with the exception of him pointlessly ruining that A610 which I've heard about) footage of him at his destructive worst! I've seen this before but tried to put it out of my mind. It's not my sort of car but I still can't believe the lengths he will go to!http://uk.youtube.co...h?v=Tf3Rw8VW3aEThis bus used to belong to Emsworth & District & was still on school duties at my school in Chichester not 5 years ago! http://uk.youtube.co...ggE9hhutq8&NR=1One of the daftest & most pointless exploits.....http://uk.youtube.co...h?v=QX9YQ8yGxMoLet's recap why he makes us hate him......http://uk.youtube.co...feature=relatedAnd now the moronic home shot versions, Clarkson you've got alot to answer for! http://uk.youtube.co...h?v=_lW4jINKdnAhttp://uk.youtube.co...h?v=MMx9WsFVA5MHere's the one that really hurts.....him as well as us apparently, but you can make you're own minds up!http://uk.youtube.co...h?v=VzWzmIWpVBQHammond tries to be Clarkson.....http://uk.youtube.co...h?v=XraeBDMm2PMCan you imagine May wanting to do something like that? ^ ^

I saw the A610 clip on Jonathan Ross last friday - really pointless. On a brighter note, the episode of minder that was on this afternoon had a mountain of shite in - I was not watching the story, just the backgrounds...an excellent bit at a horse race with a car park chock full of stuff.

What a wnaker - he goes on about unimaginative - how free-thinking is it to indulge in expensive vandalism? It's not big and it's not clever, Jeremy.

The odd thing is that those Peroduas are actually meant to be pretty good. Most reviews I've seen of them are positive too, saying that they are actually surprisingly good fun to drive. The spec is very impressive for the money too. Would much rather one of those than a base spec Citroen C2, Corsa, etc. However I suspect he wouldn't trash one of those in case it offended the many viewers who actually own one of them.....
