michael1703
I bought a saab 900 convertible because the sun was shining and thought I'd sell it in the summer for OMG millionzzz, but I can't be arsed. I paid £275 for it so would like something like that.... Despite rattle in engine it drives OK, you can get an engine on ebay from £100-£275 so it's still worth doing, they're an £850-£1750 car in summer. It's blue, it's an auto and the roof goes pop at the touch of a button. Skellington wanking in a metal dustbin while rolling down a hill? Could you just live with it or is FTP imminent? 0ldCh0d, Paul Dupart, Eddie Honda and 1 other

michael1703
Non turbo 2 litre. I've not had time to look at it or even flush the oil
sierraman
It's had an advisory on an old mot to say it wanted 2 litres of oil adding before the test, that's probably why it sounds like that. Sigmund Fraud and michael1703

DodgeRover
Possibly but possibly not as mics pick up and distort sound sometimes to the extent a quiet engine can sound like it's crackered
