The Beastestate has herewith been sold to two Autoshite ex-members.

So shut the fuck up and stop slagging me. Even I am just a human.

Sounds like it's in good hands and that's the main thing. Who was it that bought it if you don't mind my asking?

Oh, and when is LTD collectioneering taking place!

All your questions will be answered in due course.

Stay patient, drink tea, you will be rewarded with traditional GGG antics and gay abandon.

I thought this too, even when the Granadas were new. A 302 or a 351 Ghia Mk1 or Mk2. Not that difficult to do. FFS a basic spec but heavy duty Mk1 72-75 Consul GT with a 429. :-)
My ideal car.
But it was not to be.

The SA Perana Mk1 Granadas were pretty cool, very understated. (I won't post a link but worth Googling if you haven't seen them before).

You could buy an XD Falcon or Fairmont with a 302 or 351 most people would think it was a granny.

The Australian Ford LTD was officially sold in the UK at certain Ford dealerships in the early 1980s - Quicks in Manchester was one. They had a very high spec indeed and a 5.7 litre V8. They were nice cars. I wonder if there are any left?

How Many Left lists 12 LTDs in the country.

There were apparently 16 in 1996 so that's not too bad going.

What kind of fucking moron thinks it's a good idea to install a fucking ninety fucking decibel siren in a car which goes off out of nowhere while you're driving through a major junction. A fucking moron who probably thinks they should use the nuclear attack sirens to warn you of light drizzle.

If the dark satanic mills of the early industrial era, the north's premier* airport and the emissions from Stuart Maconie's mouth have thus far failed to improve Manchester's climate, I fear you may be on a hiding to nothing with a couple of V8s.
